The fifth grade recently had a virtual visit with animator and Funko Pop designer Jeff Victor, who answered questions about the business and discussed his new graphic novel, You Wish, which has been a huge hit in their classroom. Jeff concluded the presentation with a cartooning lesson, teaching the students how to draw one of the book’s heroes, Gribblet. Above are the artist’s original, done on a digital drawing tablet, and three of the students’ versions, rendered in colored pencils and pens.
