Visit this display outside Room 3 to learn about—and smell samples of—herbs and spices used in Middle Eastern cuisine, some of which you’ll be familiar with, some you may not be. Some of the herbs and spices included are fenugreek, oregano, clove, coriander, Aleppo pepper, nutmeg, sumac, turmeric, anise, and more! It's wonderful hearing what the various smells remind children of and which ones they like most. You may be surprised! The Equity & Inclusion Committee set up this display as part of Arab & Middle Eastern Heritage Month.
