Meher Schools Author Series - Joseph Schneider

How to Plot a Murder Mystery, Saturday night on zoom, December 5, 8 p.m.

Enjoy a fun evening hearing our fifth-grade teacher, Joseph Schneider, reveal the fascinating story of writing the critically acclaimed LAPD Tully Jarsdel mystery series. While working as a teacher, Joseph completed several trainings with our local sheriff’s department and worked closely with a famous detective, formerly of LAPD’s elite Robbery-Homicide Division and now a cold-case specialist in the Bay Area. Joseph will happily answer questions about the complex process of keeping readers intrigued and able to follow clues as a thriller unfolds.

Joseph can also share some techniques he uses with his students to motivate them to become interesting, accomplished writers, always engaged in new learning.

People can contribute $5 for attendance, with all funds raised to benefit the school. This will be an event geared to adults, the first in our upcoming author series. Attendees can receive a signed book plate to put in their copy of One Day You’ll Burn or its upcoming sequel, What Waits for You.
